Christian Art Work by Arnold Friberg
Arnold Friberg is considered one of the true masters of Christian art. Twenty years after
training at the renowned Chicago Academy of Fine Arts, he would become the advisor and chief
artist for the beloved Cecile B. DeMille's film, The Ten Commandments. In addition to his
artistic work for the film, Friberg produced literally hundreds of Christian art paintings.
He also has celebrated the Old West, the history of football, and a variety of other topics
through his artwork. Friberg was awarded membership in the London Royal Society of Arts in
1958, a distinction he truly deserved.
Christian art prints of Frieberg's work continue to inspire artists, and his depiction of
biblical scenes will stir your imagination. Along with incredible renderings of Christ in
these scenes, depictions of Moses, and dramatic moments in the Old Testament like the
parting of the Red Sea are finely detailed with Friberg's expert artistic gifts. He is a
painter whose themes harken back to not only the history of the development of the US, in
his western landscapes, but to the history that defines faith in a righteous God.
