Christian Art Work by Bradley Schmehl
Bradley Schmehl is an award winning artist and former art teacher. Born in 1962, his
parents soon recognized his talent for art and urged him to pursue his goals. He did so
assiduously, graduating from the Pennsylvania School of Art and Design in 1984, where he
later became an instructor. Today, he enjoys producing paintings focusing on American
History, certainly inspired by his native state. He has also been recognized for his
talents in pursuing Christian art and contemplative pieces with his classic cowboy paintings.
He is particularly interested in rendering the human figure with total accuracy and realism,
and to this end, continues to study anatomy. Outside the field of art, Schmehl is a lover of
history and a supporter of causes to preserve Civil and Revolutionary War Battle sites, and
interest he shares with his beloved wife, Becky.
