Christian Art Work by Chris Simpson
Chris Simpson was born in Zurich in 1952, but grew up on the beautiful island of
Mauritius. He early evinced an interest in photography, studying the art in London.
Initially his career form the 1970s to 1991 focused on fashion photography, but such
work failed to feed his spirit. He now produces beautiful prints in both black and white and
color, that capture beauty in a completely different way. His work has received numerous
accolades and is a favorite among many corporate clients including Texaco, Morgan Stanley,
and Lucent Technologies.
Simpson's goal in his current art is to focus on clean lines, lacking in clutter and
distraction. This makes his photographs serene and contemplative, and turns them away from
focus on the often too busy world. Whether in color or black and white, looking at a Simpson
print will give you food for the soul and and be a place to come when you need a little calm
or serenity.
