Christian Art Work by David Noton
David Noton was born in England, but chance brought the then 11 year old Noton and his
family to Canada in 1968. In Canada, his love for the outdoors grew as well as a passion
for hiking. He soon became interested in the stunning landscape of the Canadian wilderness,
though his family moved back to England in 1971. The young Noton did not easily forget
Canada. Noton started his professional photographic career taking wonderful color
photographs of Canadian, English, and Scottish sites. His work is now internationally
known and his photographs have graced many publications.
Noton has a particular interest in the contrast in light just as the sun rises or sets.
The result of this interest is truly stunning. When you look at a Noton photograph it's not
hard to imagine what it might have felt like when our Lord commanded "Let there be light."
