Christian Art Work by Huntington Witherill
Huntington Witherill is a New York native by birth but has long been proud to call the
California central coast his home. His first interest in the arts was in music, and he
began piano lessons at the age of four. Though he initially attended college with the
intention of becoming a concert pianist, his interest in photographic art grew. This new
delight in his life would become his career, which began in the 1970s. Witherall had a
chance to study with some of photography's masters, including Ansel Adams, Steve Crouch,
and Al Weber. His style, however, is uniquely his own. Witherall is especially well known
for black and white landscape photography, especially of the Western United States.
Witherall fine art prints are beautiful, challenging, and and at the same time serene.
They are a constant discovery and revelation of the Earth with amazing contrast that is
showcased through black and white shades. Every time you look at a Witherall photograph,
you'll find something new, something you didn't quite see before. Like Ansel Adams,
Witherall's work will leave you clamoring for more, and it's hard to choose just one of his
prints. These are perfect for every home and a terrific way to start your photography
collection.
