Christian Art Work by Philip Plisson

Philip Plisson is an exceptionally gifted French photographer, born in 1947. His father was an avid sailor, and for Plisson, this quickly became a love as well. Plisson was especially interested in the lure of the sea, its quick movement from calm to sudden thrusts of waves. This interest became the focus of his career as a photographer, which quickly brought him great renown. Since 1984 he has published over 15 books of his artwork, and he has received numerous honors from the art world and the nobility. Today he continues to document the ways of the sea and often works in concert with his son Guillaume.

A framed artwork by Plisson is an incredible testament to the changing nature of the sea. While some of his works show the sea in calm waters, others depict its rush and strength.
