Christian Art Work by Richard Calvo
Richard Calvo is a renowned photographers who has won high praise for his dramatic yet
simple landscapes. His career in photography began in the 1960s when he worked as a an Army
Combat Correspondent, photographing and providing details about military operations in
Vietnam. Though also a gifted writer, Calvo turned his primary focus to photography in the
early 1970s, and began working primarily on the US East Coast, producing inspirational black
and white landscape prints.
Though Calvo's focus is not specifically on Christian art, you will find it breathtaking
and inspiring. He has been compared to other artists, like the poet Robert Frost, in
producing photographs that at first seem quite simple, but upon further examination, reveal
